- ZERO's car is modeled after the Blackbird (a black Porsche 911) driven by Tatsuya Shima in the Wangan Midnight (WM) series. In the WM anime and manga, the Blackbird is initially a Porsche 911 Turbo (930), but in later WM anime/manga, the WM live action movie, and the WM video games, it is usually represented as a Porsche 911 Turbo (964). Due to an exclusive licensing deal between Porsche and Electronic Arts (EA), the Japanese WM video games featured Porsche 911-based tuner cars from Ruf or Gemballa instead; international versions of the WM video games from Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune through Maximum Tune 3DX+ used a Nissan Fairlady Z (Z33) for Blackbird instead due to copyright restrictions. After the EA/Porsche deal expired in 2016, subsequent WM game titles list Blackbird as a Porsche 911 Turbo (964).
- In TXR0 Zero only has a different rear wing, the rest of the cars aero is standard and thus weights more than a player maxed out 964T.
- Zero cannot reach the games hard speed limit of 425 km/h because of his aerodynamics causing too much drag and is also too unstable often resulting in Zero crashing
