- SPEED BOX used to be a rival team of the same name (under the name Street Tank), consisting of Honda NSXs, in the original Tokyo Xtreme Racer game. It disbanded prior to Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2.
- As in Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3, SPEED BOX does not drive a Honda NSX in Import Tuner Challenge. Genki wasn't given the license to use Honda cars in the Shutokōbatoru series TXR games as Honda felt that TXR promoted illegal street racing.
- SPEED BOX's sticker is modified, with a gear-shaped surround, the "H" in the background is thicker, and the sticker background is darker.
