The GM Corvette (Chevrolet Corvette) is an American sports car that was made by Chevrolet. The Corvette has came a long way because it was introduced in 1952 and is the most popular sports car in North America. There are 2 different versions of this car in Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3.

In-game Description[]
The 4th generation Corvette, the "C4" appeared as the next generation sports car, loaded with new technology such as the renovation of the previous generation "C3"'s old based frame and using fiberglass-made leaf rigid suspension.
This is no surprise, for the C4 was given a tremendous mission. That mission of making the "Corvette" brand name representative on an international sports car level in Europe. Until then, the Corvette unsurprisingly obtained high appraisal in America, but this was not necessarily the case on a worldwide basis.
Thus there were diverse modifications. The previous generation's body which gave a sense of pulsationion was modified to become streamlined, and tightened to be wide and low. Even so, details such as the traditional long nose, modulating fender line, and retractable headlights are intact.
The engine is a high performance unit, a V type 8-cylinder generating 300 PS. It is a typically American torque full engine one can enjoy a sense of acceleration from low revolutions.
The C4 strategy succeeded and it became a worldwide hit. As a result, the brand name, Corvette, successfully joined the ranks of designated "sports cars".

The GM Corvette C4 is one of the versions of the GM Corvette. It is unlocked when you do the following:
- Defeat Planet Harmony (DE LA SPEED leader); or
- Defeat Master Position (Wanderer)

In-game Description[]
One of the sports cars which represents America is the Corvette. This model is the 5th generation, and is called the "C5". The Corvette is a dream car for the American people, and is even though of as a car that only successful people can own.
Probably its styling is the first and foremost feature. Although it has that dynamic "long-nose fast back" style, its beautifully streamlined body, created by the way the fender and the body are connected, the firm look of sections such as the roof and tail, attracts attention. Of course, the design is superb, but driving it and experiencing the performance makes one feel that the car is in a dimension of its own, separate from other cars.
The V type 8-cylender engine which generates 355PS floods the driver with an uncommon sense of acceleration with just a little depression on the accelerator. On top of that, it maintains a stable performance and a thick torque that pulls the body, allowing the driver to experience the thrills of the large aerodynamic volume displacement sports car. Not something that could come out of a European inspiration, this car is truly an American sport car.

The GM Corvette Z51 is one of the versions of the GM Corvette. It is unlocked when you do the following:
- Defeat Killing Machine (Unlimited Leader), or
- Defeat Night Rocket (Wanderer), or
- Defeat Late Night Salesman (Wanderer).
Custom Versions[]

This car is driven by the DARTS member Nothingness, and is the only custom version of this car. However, it is lighter than the stock version of this car, making it faster. It also has a custom vinyl and gold wheels.
Special Versions[]
